
With the school celebrating 50 years of service in 2013, obtaining great matric results was on every teacher’s mind.
The school wrote the National Senior Certificate exams (NSC) where 78 pupils sat and wrote the exam.
97.4% in the previous year to a 99% average 2013 saw the result increase by two percent.
“We saw that the pupils showed more dedication in getting the best results they,” said the principle Heather Carolus.
The school obtained 50 Distinctions, 98 B’s obtained, 54 Bachelor passes, 25 Diploma passes and three higher certificate passes.
The top pupil was Lameez Appolis who achieved: English: 75%, Afrikaans 78%, Mathematics 78%, Life Orientation 84%, Geography 82%, Life Sciences 83% and Physical Science 72%.
