The suspect who was on the run after police raided his home last Tuesday appeared in the Protea Magistrate’s Court last Friday and was remanded in custody.
Police were led to his home in Extension Nine by a tracker signal and found three VW vehicles, two of the chassis numbers were tampered with.
The other vehicle was reported stolen last month.
“The suspect wasn’t given bail, he will appear for a formal bail application,” said Colonel Katlego Mogale.
