Supplementary examinations underway

85 000 pupils sit down to write supplementary examinations from today to March 24.

Today marks the first day of the supplementary examinations for last year’s matriculants.

According to the Department of Basic Education recently, 85 000 pupils had registered for writing supplementary examinations this year.

The supplementary examinations will take place at 6 103 centres throughout the country.

The department said that this year’s supplementary examinations will be written from today until March 24.

Results of these examinations will be released on April 30.
