Station Commander leaves police force

Brigadier Leroy Nolan will be studying to broaden his horizons.

After 31-years of service, three of them in Eldorado Park, Brigadier Leroy Nolan will bid farewell to the police force.

“I want to broaden my knowledge in terms of working in another environment that has oversight of police,” Nolan said.

He will be doing his honours in policing and is sure that he won’t return to the police force.

Under his leadership in Eldos, Nolan ensured that six police officers were arrested for corruption and complaints of service delivery decreased.

“My door was always open and I felt satisfied when someone left my office satisfied,” said Nolan.

Colonel Van Dyk will be the acting station commander.
