Comedy night at the theatre

Aromat Loxion Comedy Series leaves revellers in stitches.

The ‘Aromat Loxion Comedy Series’ shook things up at the Soweto Theatre last Friday with a line up of Mzanzi’s hottest upcoming and prominent comedians.

The show consisted of six of the best comedians Gauteng has to offer, enchanting the crowd with humour on their daily lives.

The theme behind this years’ show was honouring past South African Comedians who made a mark in the comedy industry, while bringing humour and a smile to the audience.

The line up included Smokey Nyembe, entertainment legend Joe Mafela as ambassador, Pelepele Ncunu, Felix Hlope, Jay Boogie, Sifiso Nene and Siyanda Maphumulo.

Thapelo Seatla from Mapetla said that the show was very entertaining, leaving him with stomach aches and a different take on life.

“Its nice to have a comedy show that is on that level and standard right in our neighbourhood.

“The one thing I enjoyed the most was being able to look at our real life problems and forget about them and actually laugh at them,”Seatla said.
