Masibambisane Centre receives toiletry donation

Some children share one facecloth with an entire family.

Children from Masibambisane, a centre for orphaned and vulnerable children, received a toiletry pack donation after it was found that toiletries are a big need at the centre.

“Some of our children come from disadvantaged homes where the entire family shares one facecloth,” Queen Mphahlele a social auxiliary worker said.

The centre takes care of 220 children and provides aftercare activities, life skills, support groups and assists children with homework.

Lesley-Ann Bezuidenhiut who arranged for the packs said there was a great need at the centre and she felt it right to assist.

Children received a facecloth, toothbrush, soap, toothpaste and sanitary pads for girls.
