Eldorado Park is ranked as the eighth worst precinct in Gauteng for crime.
The crime stats were released by the police minister Tuesday.
The most reported crimes are drug related crimes at 3089, common assault at 881 and assault GBH at 685 from Eldorado Park.
Drug related crimes in the area have increased from 296 reported cases in 2005 to 3089 in 2015 resulting Eldorado Park to be the worst precinct in Gauteng for the crime.
Drug-related crimes in Eldorado Park contribute 17% of Gauteng crime statistics for the field.
Last year a total of 9220 crimes were reported compared to 8881 crimes this year making Eldorado Park the eighth worse precinct in Gauteng.
Johannesburg Central is the worst precinct in Gauteng with 15 860 crimes reported.
Eldorado Park is also ranked fifth worst for common assault with 881 reports, contributing 9.8% to Gauteng’s statistics.
Malicious damage to property was reported 572 times resulting in the community being the ninth worst precinct for the crime.
Ranked as the 10th worst precinct for public violence, Eldorado Park had 21 reported cases while it is ranked fourth for child neglect and ill-treatment with 16 reported cases.
Sexual offences decreased between 2014 and 2015 by 26, common robbery by 40 and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition by 13.
