Turned away from voting because of nails

Thuli was turned away due to her nails.

Thuli Ndlovu alleges was turned away but IEC officials from voting yesterday because of the fake nails she had on her fingers.
Her fake nails had glitter on them and IEC officials were unable to mark her thumb thus turning her away.
She informed Urban news today that she was asked to remove one nail and come back to vote.

“I spent a lot of money on these nails and to remove one nail wouldn’t make sense and it would just look odd. This has discouraged my perception of voting and ruined my voter day,” said Thuli Ndlovu.
