
Chriseddie Children Development Programme (CCD) gave clothes to Dobsonville children at the Sithiwe Village Community Hall at the Dobsonville Hostel on September, 19.
CCD programme director Christopher Shabalala said that ninety-five children received clothes and shoes.
“The clothes were given to the needy children that are part of our organisation as well as other children we identified from the community.
“Parents were helping their children in choosing clothes,” said Shabalala.
CCD is a Non- Government Organisation (NGO) based in Dobsonville.
The NGO’s objective is to take care of children and orphans on a daily basis by ensuring that their needs are met.
The organisation offer educational, physical, emotion support and also take care of the children significant needs.
The organisation started in 2013 by providing afternoon classes , homework supervision and extra mural activities such as sport for the children.
The programme founders Christopher and Edward Shabalala said that they would like to thank all the people who donated clothes to the NGO.
“We would like to thank pastor M.C Mbatha of Faith Temple of Fire Center for their support,”said Shabalala.
