1 trapped in vehicle following accident, Eldos

At approximately 8:45 pm on October 10, two vehicles were involved in an accident on the corner of Main Road and Mahonie Crescent in Eldorado Park Extension Three.

Eyewitnesses report that a Golf  and Mercedes were involved in the collision which saw one occupant trapped in one vehicle.

Emergency services arrived on the scene at 9:15 pm to rescue the trapped accident victim. The cause of the accident remains unclear and a charge of reckless driving has been lodged.

The matter is still under investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available.
