Westbury Secondary’s Annual Graduation Ceremony

Westbury Secondary Schoo makes it clear that it wants to get to a 100 percent pass rate mark

Westbury Secondary School held their 9th Annual Graduation Ceremony for the class if 2016.

The pass percent officially was 89 percent.

The keynote speaker, Edwin Goodall encouraged the graduates and attendees to, “Have self-confidence. Know how to get along with people and have respect.”

He went to tell them that they had the benefit of time. “Begin the habit of building a network of people and associates in your circle.”

The learners were thrilled to walk onto the stage to be capped by the principal Dr Been Robinson.

Parents were proud to be part of this auspicious occasion which Westbury Secondary identifies as the matric learners highlight and not the banquet.

The top learner of the class of 2016 is Levale Jacobs.

He will be studying BSc Engineering at Wits University the other podium finishes were;

The journey for the class of 2017 has begun and this year’s matriculants will be expected to keep the high standard set over the recent years alive.

The average pass rate of 88% is an immediate target. The school wants to get to the ultimate 100 percent.
