In the early hours of this morning, there were several protest actions in Soweto and other parts of the country over the #secretballot and #VoteOfNoConfidence.

In Bramfischerville and Dobsonville, taxis had to transport people back to the rank because of the blockades on the Soweto Highway and Main Reef.

The queues were very long at some Rea Vaya stations and at taxi ranks as well.

Rea Vaya buses are not operating this morning due to road blockages in Soweto.Passengers will be updated on the situation during the day.^BM

The City of Joburg also confirmed this morning that no buses will be operating and that the South African Police Service was trying to clear roads due to blockades.
