MEC of Education Panyaza Lesufi was disturbed to find out that the driver was allegedly speeding and under the influence of alcohol.
“Parents really need to be careful on who they employ to transport their children to schools. I am pleased that law enforcement agencies acted swiftly and arrested the driver. I wish all learners a speedy recovery,” he said.
The department has dispatched a team of officials to provide the necessary psychological support to all the children injured.
