Police Statement:
A spokesperson for the Eldorado Park South African Police Service, in response to the foetus that was in the ‘spruitjie’ at about 7:30 am on Tuesday, October 10, “a member of the community reported the case of the dead baby at Diamant street Extension One Eldorado Park.
“When our members arrived at the scene, they discovered that it is a foetus and not a baby. The case of concealment of birth has been opened at Eldorado Park SAPS.
“We appeal to anyone who can give information which can lead to the arrest of the perpetrators and successful conviction to give information to the Station Commander of Eldorado Park SAPS,” Captain Phillemon Khorombi.
