Protea Glen Ext 29 residents have taken to the streets to protest against land invaders. It is alleged that a group of people suddenly came with their shacks and began to occupy the land.

Residents say they want the government to intervene as a matter of urgency. The grabbed land was a recreational ground for children.

The affected area is Protea Glen Ext 29, Phase Three.
