The Mbense family have tried seeking help from institutions like the Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, the Baragwanath government mortuary, Kliptown Police Station, Sophiatown Police Station, Jabulani Hospital as well as a local radio station, Jozi FM.
The search is still underway and they are awaiting feedback after the assistance they received from these institutions. Reports of Sello being spotted by a passerby next to the Westgate Pikitup Selby Depot, are being investigated.

“My life is shattering right in front of my eyes, I am emotionally ill, we really miss him, he is one of the most important members of the family. Losing him would leave scars in our hearts because he is a very kind and humble person,” Sibongile added.
