Atletico Football Club (FC) gives back to the community of Westbury after winning the Steven Pienaar Community Cup’s Super league division.
Daisy Doubel known as Miss Dee is the owner of the team which started in 2016. Last year the Atletico FC was profiled by us for their top position in the Jowest Local Football Association’s log.
Today, Miss Dee speaks about giving back to the community.
“We had to find a way to give back to our community that has been supporting us every weekend. I normally get two friends to prepare the soup and we buy bread and everything that is needed.
“This week FNB Bank City donated canned foods and we distributed that as well,” said Miss Dee.
According to the owner Atletico FC has been dubbed the People’s Team and the club intends on giving back to the community more often.
