Diski tournament hopes to be a knockout
Four U13 local soccer teams will be battling for a trophy, medals and a number of prizes on offer.
The LLM Stars Abashumayeli Football Club will be hosting soccer trials on September 30 at the Snake Park Block Seven soccer grounds. According to the event organiser Luyanda Magononda, they invited accredited SAFA coaches to conduct a soccer clinic on the day for both girls and boys from 6- to 12 years old.
Magononda said, “The participants will be taught soccer techniques and tactics, with a focus on grassroots coaching and development.
This is the first annual event they will be hosting and they are hopeful that it will grow bigger in the near future. Later in the day, they will be hosting a top 4 Soccer Tournament on the same pitch.
