ANC walks the talk by taking care of the people

If your neighbor is in need it hurts.

It didn’t sit well with the members of ANC Womans’ League Ward 27 when they discovered that some families in their wards are child headed and impoverished.

Jabulile Ncala and Mpho Kekana of Ward 27.

During their Thuma Mina Programme, some families in need were identified and given groceries and clothes.
The Chairperson For ANCWL Ward 27, Beauty Pole explained that she wished the programme would last forever and they would always help the struggling.

Beauty Pole and Jabulile Ncala happy about the clothes.

Pole said, “We have identified families that need a little help in our ward and have donated for them what we could.”
Mpho Kekana said that they were campaigning to help the lowly and that they as the woman’s league desire people to know that they try by all means to help families in need.

Nokwanda Ledwaba.

Kekana said, “We would like the people in the community to know that we are here and we care.”
The ladies met at one of the school to package their gifts for the designated family, where the deputy secretary for the Woman’s League, Patricia Mdlalose said, “This is not the end, we are just beginning and we will do more and more in time.”

Patricia Mdlalose and Ntando Khoza pleased.

Mdlalose explained that as the women of the ANC, they existed to help the people and to take care of them because, “It hurts when a neighbor is lacking essentials.”
Ntando Khoza who joined the ladies in their philanthropy said that, “Our liberation as a country is not complete unless the women are totally liberated as well.”
Nokwanda Ledwaba said that young people should join the ANC and the Woman’s League to empower young women against gender based violence.
