The 2019 ABC Motsepe SASCE National Championship continued to be a hub of entertainment as thousands of learners ascended the stage to showcase their musical talents.

The competition had 36 different categories and runs for four days. 60 learners from Rutegang Primary School took part in the competition.

Each year the Eisteddfod draws in thousands of learners across the country to compete and stand a chance to win prizes which are designed to improve the school and the community at large. To tie in with the theme for this year which was ‘celebrating 25 years of democracy’.

Rutegang Primary School learners came out victories at this year’s ABC Motsepe SASCE. The learners took their Izitibili trophy and prize of R10 000 after being nominated two times in this category and they also awarded for Social-ills Jingle and Folklore.
