GDE’s online admissions system live and accessible
Parents can now resume with applications.
The Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) announced yesterday that the 2022 online admissions would shut down temporarily due to an emergency fix that had to be urgently applied on the system and a few hours later announced that the system was live and accessible, giving parents and guardians who are applying under the current Phase 1 application period a green light to proceed in applying as per the steps outlined on the website
“We are indebted to our technicians who managed to apply the emergency fix to our system much earlier than expected.
“Parents and guardians applying in Phase 1 can now resume with their applications as per normal,” said Gauteng Education MEC, Mr. Panyaza Lesufi.
