WATCH: Talks of total shutdown spread following morning protests
Angry Soweto residents expected to hand over their grievances to the Executive Mayor of Joburg on Tuesday 21 June.
There are growing concerns amongst residents of Soweto following reports of a possible shutdown on Tuesday 21 June.

This follows social media messages about a total shutdown planned by Soweto Parliament and residents of Klipspruit and Pimville.
According to a poster which has been shared on social media, there will be a march to the City of Johannesburg to deliver a petition to the Mayor, Dr Mpho Phalatse.
The petition is about Eskom and the removal of informal settlement in Soweto.
Many parts of Soweto are currently without electricity due to bust transformers.
Electricity issues usually escalate in Soweto during winter.
This, according to the power utility is caused by network overload and illegal connections amongst other things.
On Monday morning, there were protests in different parts of Soweto where roads were blocked and public transport routes disrupted.
A video of Nhlanhla Lux has also been shared on social media where he talks about a planned shutdown.
