This comes after they gave out over a hundred food parcels and blankets again on Mandela Day last week.
In addition to food and blankets donated, the foundation also made sure that children and pensioners who came to the centre did not leave on empty stomachs as they prepared a meal for them.
The past weekend donation was in collaboration with Cii Projects, an organisation which offers development and humanitarian aid locally and abroad.
Stella Sitho, a team leader at Kasi Hero Foundation said the weekend event was a continuation of their Mandela Month drive where they aim to change the lives of the people, drawing inspiration from the life of the former president.
“Today we wanted to make sure that we give to those who were left out on Mandel day when we donated 100 food parcels and blankets to our grannies. We are hoping that we can cover 120 of them today,” explained Sitho.

She went on to say that the daily nutrition programme has been continuing at the centre to make sure that children in the community don’t go hungry even when schools are closed.
Apart from the food parcels and blankets donated on the day, a wheelchair was also donated to one old man who was struggling with his old one.
There was also a celebrity guest appearance on the day in the form of Palesa Madisakwane who spent the day interacting with the senior citizens and showing them some love.
It was a joyous day for the grannies who sang and dance in celebration of Mandela Day and the spirit of giving by Kasi Hero Foundation.
