In support of the event, over a hundred individuals descended on the car wash. Some people shaved their hair, and some people sprayed their hair.

Movember, a men’s cancer awareness month, was created since it is often forgotten that men may also contract the fatal cancer virus.

Charis Pretorius, a cancer survivor who was part of the event said: “We must recognize that guys can get cancer, too. Men are equally as likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer as women are to die from it.

“Cancer needs to be made more widely known, and people shouldn’t be frightened to visit a doctor to get tested. Particularly in the case of cancer, early detection can save your life.
