MK Party gains momentum in Pimville

MK took the streets of Pimville, gaining new members in a show of growing community support.

Mkhoto we Sizwe (MK) members organised a visibility walk in Ward 22, Zone 3, Pimville on March 8, to recruit new members.

The event which kicked off at Sisulu Square and concluded at Phomano’s lounge, drew curious residents eager to learn more about the MK party.

The walk gained momentum and many passionate participants registered to become members of the MK party, supporting its growing presence in the community.

Pimville resident Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi expressed excitement about MK, saying its message resonates with him, and hopes joining the organisation will help achieve long-awaited progress.

Miyelani Mahlangu, another resident from Pimville, shared his desire for change by joining the MK party.

“I joined the MK party because I want a party that will bring change,” Mahlamgu emphasised.

“I hope by joining MK, there will be more job opportunities.”

According to MK zonal coordinator Dederick Netshiheni, the programme was successful because they recruited many people.

Moreover, Netshiheni believes the MK can bring a change in Ward 22, particularly in addressing issues of poor service delivery.

MK members will continue to host visibility walks, especially on weekends, to recruit more people and increase MK’s visibility in Pimville.
