The JMPD is mourning the loss of one of its own after a metro police officer was gunned down in Diepkloof.

Her fully marked JMPD patrol vehicle was parked outside her family home, and preliminary observations suggest a possible robbery attempt, as her cell phone was missing.
The JMPD has opened a murder case at Diepkloof SAPS for further investigation.
JMPD Acting Chief of Police Patrick Jaca expressed his deepest condolences to Mabaso’s family, friends, and colleagues, assuring them that the department will leave no stone unturned in pursuing justice and finding the perpetrators.
