Local police search for killer after teen girl’s mutilated body found in veld
Gauteng police are investigating the brutal murder of a 14-year-old girl whose body was discovered in an open field in Durban Deep, Roodepoort, on June 1. Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information.
The police are investigating a murder case after someone discovered the body of a 14-year-old girl at Durban Deep in Roodepoort on the afternoon of June 1.
According to Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, a passerby found the mutilated body in an open veld and notified SAPS.
The killer(s) remain unknown at this stage, and investigations are underway.

“Resources have been mobilised to ensure the culprits behind this heinous attack are caught and brought to justice.
