Manhunt underway by Orlando police for group involved in house robbery and rape incident
Five men, three of whom were armed, were allegedly wearing balaclavas and stormed into a certain yard with several occupants inside.
Orlando police have launched a manhunt for five suspects following a house robbery and rape incident that took place in Orlando West on October 17.
According to the police, three of the men were armed, and all were allegedly wearing balaclavas when they stormed into a yard where several occupants were inside.
They forced entry into the house and robbed the victims of their cellphones and other personal belongings.
It was reported that during the attack, two of the suspects allegedly broke into one of the bedrooms and took turns raping a young woman.
Another tenant in the tard was assaulted and stabbed in the arm when he screamed for help.

The suspects then went ahead and stole the tenant’s two cellphones and car keys before fleeing the scene in an unknown car after being disturbed by a family member who managed to alert the community.
Provincial forensic experts attended the scene, collected evidence and obtained fingerprints.
The rape survivor was taken to a medical facility for treatment and trauma support. Police have confirmed that the victims may be able to identify the attackers if seen again.
A case of house robbery, rape and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm has been opened, and investigations are continuing.
