Two teenagers killed, four injured in Westbury shooting
Police are investigating a suspected gang-related shooting.
Two teenagers were killed and four others injured when gunmen opened fire on a group of youngsters on October 21.
According to police, the incident occurred at about 13:00 on Croesus Street, where six victims, aged between 13 and 19, were approached by four suspects on foot, three of whom were armed.
Without saying a word, the suspects allegedly opened fire on the group before fleeing the scene.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Brenda Muridili confirmed the incident, saying officers from the Sophiatown Police Station responded swiftly to reports of a shooting.
“Six teenagers were shot. Two were declared dead on arrival at hospital, while four are receiving medical attention,” she said.
Preliminary investigations suggest the shooting may be gang-related.
“It is reported that the victims were attacked by three suspects believed to be from a rival gang,” Brigadier Muridili added.

Members of the Provincial Anti-Gang Unit, SAPS Forensic Services, and District Crime Intelligence were deployed to assist with investigations and the tracing of the suspects.
Police have appealed to anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
