Eldorado Park operation leads to arrest of alleged dagga dealer
A 32-year-old man was arrested after an intelligence-driven operation in Eldorado Park allegedly uncovered packaged and loose dagga and cash linked to suspected drug dealing.
A 32-year-old man was arrested for allegedly dealing in dagga during an intelligence-driven operation in Eldorado Park on Wednesday, September 9.
The operation involved members of the Eldorado Park Crime Prevention Unit, Gauteng Traffic Wardens and the South African National Defence Force (SANDF).
According to the South African Police Service (SAPS), the team received information about a man allegedly involved in the possession, sale and distribution of drugs in Eldorado Park and surrounding areas.

The information led officers to an identified premises, where a search was conducted.
SAPS said the search resulted in the recovery of a quantity of packaged and loose suspected dagga, as well as cash allegedly linked to drug-dealing activities.
The man was arrested and is facing a charge of dealing in dagga.
He is expected to appear in the Kliptown Magistrate’s Court.
SAPS said it continues to conduct intelligence-driven operations aimed at addressing drug-related crime in communities.
