Three arrested after woman killed in Eldorado Park hijacking
Police have taken three men into custody following an investigation into the death of a 27-year-old woman found along a Nancefield roadside.
The police have arrested three suspects in connection with the murder and hijacking of a 28-year-old woman in Eldorado Park.
The investigation follows the discovery of the woman’s body along a roadside in Nancefield on August 24. She had sustained injuries to her upper body, and police opened a case of murder and hijacking.
On September 21 at about 10:00, intelligence information led officers to a scrapyard in Freedom Park, Eldorado Park, where a 27-year-old suspect was traced.

According to police, the suspect allegedly fled when he saw officers and produced a firearm, resulting in a shootout.
The suspect sustained injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains under police guard. Police recovered a .38 Special revolver with its serial number filed off and one live round.
Further investigations led to the arrest of two more suspects, aged 35 and 36, at about 19:45 in Freedom Park on September 21.
The deceased’s vehicle has not yet been recovered.
The injured suspect is expected to appear in court once he has recovered. He faces charges of murder, hijacking and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
The two other suspects are also expected to appear at Lenasia Magistrates Court on September 23.
Police investigations are continuing.
