Residents are urged to prepare ahead and store enough water for essential household use as maintenance will take place from today, May 29, until Tuesday, June 2.

Johannesburg Water confirmed that areas including Soweto at large, Central system, Commando, Deep South, Midrand, Randburg, Roodepoort, and Sandton will be affected.

It is said that pumping at Rand Water’s Eikenhof Pump Station, which supplies Johannesburg Water’s Soweto system, will be affected during this maintenance.
