The ultimate laundry guide for travellers
Keep your clothes fresh on holiday with these five laundry tips.
When travelling, laundry is often the last thing on your mind.
However, knowing how to keep your clothes fresh without any hassle can make all the difference while on your adventure.
According to Bronwyn Ragavan, brand manager for Personal Touch, laundry is not something people want to tackle while on holiday. However, even though they may not like it, it needs to be done.

To make laundry less of a chore while travelling, Ragavan suggests the following five tips:
1. Pack smart: Choose lightweight, quick-drying fabrics that can be easily washed and dried overnight.
2. Use travel-size laundry essentials: Consider packing a travel-size laundry detergent that is compact and convenient.
3. Bring a portable clothesline: A compact clothesline with suction cups or hooks can be used to dry clothes anywhere.
4. Separate clean and dirty clothes: Use zippered laundry bags to keep your suitcase organised and prevent odours from spreading to clean garments.
5. Make use of hotel sinks: If you need to wash a few items, use the hotel sink with a small amount of laundry detergent.
