Police take school search to Eldos

The law enforcers started with enforcing discipline by standing at the school gate monitoring the correct school uniform, proper hairstyles and late coming.

The Eldorado Park SAPS Vispol Team, under Colonel Malatjie’s command, together with patrollers and Gauteng traffic wardens, conducted a school search at Silver Oaks Secondary School on April 15.

The school search started with the law enforcers monitoring the school gate to make sure that the learners were in the correct school uniform, had the appropriate hairstyles, and were late coming.

The team then proceeded to the classes where approximately 325 learners were searched and hats, caps, scissors, playing cards and pepper spray were found in possession of the learners and were handed over to the Principal.

The school principal and teachers appreciated the intervention of the SAPS and how they help in instilling discipline in the learners.
