Following the arrest of a 20-year-old suspect on October 29 in connection with the Westbury double murder and attempted murder, the Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) apprehended a second suspect on October 31 in Westbury.

The 36-year-old man is believed to be the mastermind behind the shooting incident.

He is expected to appear before the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on November 3, 2025, facing two counts of murder and five counts of attempted murder.
