SA’s Jewellery Village debuts new ethical gold and silver range
The Jewellery Village launched a new collection of silver and gold jewellery, handcrafted locally by SA designers and made from ethically sourced materials.
The Jewellery Village launched its new range of silver and gold jewellery, all designed by SA’s premier designers, on October 30.
The silver and gold used in their creations are of world-class quality and supplied by the Rand Refinery to all their SMMEs, ensuring excellence, authenticity and support for local craftsmanship.
The director of The Jewellery Village, Nqobile Nkosi, told The Urban News that their brand stands for using locally and ethically mined gold and silver to create jobs for the youth, while producing beautiful, high-quality jewellery.

“What sets The Jewellery Village apart from other jewellery companies is its commitment to local manufacturing.
“While nearly 90% of jewellery sold in SA is imported, The Jewellery Village produces 90% of its pieces locally. Each design is unique and handcrafted by talented SA jewellery designers,” said Nkosi.
Their local focus reflects their dedication to uplifting local talent and supporting small businesses in the industry.
She added that their goal is to reach local and international communities with their products.
Reflecting on how her journey shaped her brand, Nkosi said that her experiences had greatly influenced the identity and design of her brand.
