The Auto Trader Stunt Show thrilled visitors on the final weekend of the JHB International Motor Show, boasting an impressive collection of drag vehicles.
A Rail Drag car, with 2,000 bhp, Chev 350, 5.7 litre engine and a top speed of 300km, was turned on for blip starts to demonstrate the engine roar at 70%.
A Ford Escort Dragster with a 1,700 bhp, and top speed of 278kph, was used for burnouts and if that isn’t wasn’t to get hearts racing, crowds enjoyed another daring display of motor acrobatics in cars ranging from V8’s, turbo’s, front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive.
For motorsport fans who were looking to test their enthusiasm for going sideways, the Suicide Rides by SA’s professional drifters turned the action up a notch.
