The International Reggae Festival disappointed fans with no artists on stage and the show starting three hours after the start time.
With less than 300 people in the facility, the show organizers were nowhere to be found and the audience felt robbed.
Other than appreciating to be around other people with the same interest, the event was a mere showcase of incompetence.
“I came here with a friend of mine who is a Dj as well and I really wasn’t pleased with what happen.
“We go here and there wasn’t any music playing and there were only people talking and trying to keep themselves busy.
Artists that were expected to perform included Turbulence, Etana, Bushman, The Lucky Dube Band, Lucius Banda From Malawi, Souljah Luv from Zimbabwe and Skeleton Blazer.
The Dj line initially was supposed to include Dj Madd Koolia, Teedo, Commander B, E man and Mc Bada Bada.
“We stood there for more than half an hour before they started playing music, and even still, they were repeating the same songs as though it was a sound check or something and this was at 9;30 at night,” said Azania Mathande.
“I got lost, I was bored and I just feel that it was a waste of money to pay and time because no one even came to the stage to at least talk to the crowd and give some sort of explanation,” said Brandon Sithole.
