KWF Springs Karate Club members advance after dojo grading
KWF Springs Karate Club members earned new belts after putting their skills to the test during a recent dojo grading.
KWF Springs Karate Club held a dojo grading on August 15, where its karatekas put their skills to the test as they worked towards advancing to the next belt level.
“I am happy with the standard of the members that graded,” said sensei Fanie du Plessis.
The results of the members that graded are as follows:
- Graded to pre-yellow 2: Njabulo Wali, Itumeleng Ntika and Kopano Thulare
- Graded to yellow 1: Christoper Pretorius and Conor John
- Graded to orange 1: Nikita Vermeulen and Amoré Grobler
- Graded to orange 2: Kaleb Vermaak, Declyn Materin and Kgothatso Sekhu
- Graded to sixth Kyu: Sibahle Siluma and Gosiame Mashigo
- Graded to blue 2: Tinike Foster
- Graded to fifth Kyu: Meneschia van der Merwe
- Graded to purple 1: Uminathi Mudau
