Meet the Williams’
The Caxton Reynolds Race is about to kick off and the Addie caught up with Marisa (38) and Dennis Williams (39) who will represent the Addie in this challenge.
Here, Marisa answers a few questions about this dynamic husband and wife team:
Q: Why did you enter this race?
A: To win it off course, and yet another opportunity for us to go and explore the sea-life in Mauritius, and to make our home town proud.
Q: Describe yourselves to our readers.
A: We are both bubbly, outgoing, fun-loving people and are very young at heart. We are both go-getters, but when it comes to anything too scary, hubby must take the lead.
Q: What are your interests and hobbies?
A: Dennis enjoys golf, off-road biking, mountain biking and extreme scuba diving. I enjoy fitness training, mountain biking and scuba diving
Q: What is the most daring thing you have ever done?
A: For Dennis it was diving off the bridge at Victoria Falls, while my most daring adventure was entering a Fear Factor contest at the Citrus Festival.
Q: What is the most outrageous thing you have ever done on a dare or bet?
A: Dennis chewed and swallowed a Parktown prawn. I ate sheep testicles at Fear Factor.
Q: What would you do on your perfect weekend?
A: We would go hot air ballooning and canopy tree touring with our kids Tanika and Tristan.
