Boy dies after being badly burnt

‘Little Spider-man’, as his parents called him, was taken to the N17 Hospital on August 23 after a generator he was close to exploded.

Zaydon died five days later after succumbing to his injuries.

The Hero Burn Foundation, which is a foundation that supports burn victims and their families, had asked people on Facebook to pray for him, and people from all over the country responded to the call.

Annerie du Plooy from the Hero Burn Foundation says the incident was a complete accident.

“His parents are going through a very hard time at the moment. They are in no state to speak to the media but we do thank everyone for their prayers.”
