No one ever seems to stop there and if they do, the entire car is way beyond the stop line because they realised a car was oncoming. Where are the traffic officers that should be sitting there occasionally?
I have been living in the Selcourt enclosure for three years now and have never seen any officers there pulling vehicles over. It was only on August 16 , I shook my head at an Afrikaans lady driving a white X5 BMW who had done just as I have described but she took it as if she had done nothing wrong.
She proceeded to drive even more dreadfully, missing my car by centimetres and eventually cutting in front me and slamming on brakes. She climbed out her car to scream at me, and for what?
I pointed out that she was in the wrong and should drive within the law and carefully because I do know children are forever on their bicycles on Phoenix Road. I ask again, where are those traffic cops?
