Kuso gives back

The gift of giving has no season or time, it is blind to race and opens its arms to every soul in need.

This is what the Kutlwano Social Organisation (Kuso) believes in, and they are dedicated to making the lives of those around them better.

The organisation donated shoes to the children from laerskole PAM Brink and Jan van Riebeeck on Monday morning.

The donation is part of their all-year School Shoe Project which is aimed at giving primary school children shoes.

Kuso chairman Sibusiso Manqele was among the Kuso delegation who handed the shoes over to the children.

“As an organisation we believe that poverty knows no race or age, that is why we will be going around to every part of the world that is accessible to us,” he said.

He added that the shoes are just some of the things that they have started to donate as they aim to do much more.

“For now we are trying to get sponsors because we are doing this from our own pockets, but with help we can give so much more. Our aim is to help alleviate poverty,” he added.

PAM Brink principal Anton Jansen van Rensburg was at a loss for words.

“All I can say is thank you so much, we really need more people like you. Keep up the good work and I hope our relationship with Kuso strengthens over the years,” he said.

Kuso is calling on all companies and businesses who would like to help, to contact Sibusiso on 082 312 5486.
