Month of Puratassi
Springs Tamil Association wishes all well over the month of Puratassi starting September 17 to October 17.
The Tamil month of Puratassi is of great importance to Tamilians as it is believed that Lord Venkateswara or Lord Vishnu manifested on earth during this auspicious month.
The blessed month of Puratassi also holds Saturday as the most auspicious day of the week for worship and prayer.
Whatever the tradition, custom and method of worship may be, let it be known that the Lord although totally uninfluenced, is most biased to the devotee striving on the path of truth and righteousness, and has his heart and mind soaked in pure love and devotion.
The Puratassi prayer will be observed on September 21 at the Shree Sitthi Vinayagar Alayam, 3 Fifth Avenue, Bakerton, commencing at 4pm.
