Hellenic hall craft market

It was strikingly busy at the Crafters Fair held on Saturday.

A festive atmosphere could be felt at the Hellenic hall where all manner of goodies – from arts and crafts, to homemade biscuits, and jewellery – were displayed in the hall.

According to Julie Beasley from Selcourt she visited the fair at the beginning of the year and enjoyed the variety of choices she had when choosing what to buy.

“There are a lot of exhibits and people can buy their Christmas gifts at a reasonable price,” said visitor Pat Robinson, as she looked at the pot plants on display on the outside of the hall.

Between the crafts, clothing and homemade exhibits, families enjoyed freshly made lunch and other refreshments.

Pat added everyone should have a break and asked, “what is better than enjoying homemade treats and lunch, or even a nice pot plant for the garden.”
