Doing good in the community
The Springs Park Rotary Club in conjunction with Pick n Pay Strubenvale and Veritas Preparatory School, donated food hampers to two needy feeding schemes.
The Project Relief Feeding Scheme situated in Geduld is run by Marsha Horn.
“I help the children who attend Pam Brink School and their little brothers and sisters,” says Marsha.
Mary Reynolds of the Springs Park Rotary Club says each year the club identifies needy organisations around Springs.
The children come from poor families and Marsha has been running the feeding scheme for years.
“She really has made a difference in the Geduld community,” says Mary.
The Jesus is Light Outreach Feeding Scheme run by San van Wyk also received food hampers.
San’s feeding scheme is run out of her church, the Jesus is Light Church in Eastvale where she supports the surrounding communities with food throughout the year.
“I am committed to helping and feeding the community around me and will continue to do it,” says San.
The Springs Park Rotary Club thanked Pick n Pay Strubenvale and Veritas Preparatory School for their contributions to this worthy cause.
