Party for the children

Children from Allen Nora Orphanage and Poppie Kinderhuis attended a Christmas party held for them at Rex Engineering in Nuffield.

The children were given a tour of the factory workshop and shown what gets done at the company.

Organiser, Yolandie Smith, says each year the company does something for charity.

“Last year we identified two needy families and we all put in money to gave food baskets to those families. This year we wanted to help children so we identified two orphanages in Springs who needed some love.”

The children got a ride on a forklift and then were able to enjoy the jumping castle, funny clown and some sweet packs and gifts as well as special Rex Engineering shirts with each child’s name printed on them. “We would like to thank everyone who sponsored time and products for this party: Afrox, Incredible Castles, Dc Laser Cutting and Engraving, Ink to Stitches and everyone at Rex Engineering, thank you all,” says Yolandie.
