A hijacking took place on Friday in Hagart Avenue, Selection Park.
According to Springs police A woman and her daughter were parked in front of their gate at 8:45am, waiting for it gate to open.
It was then that they noticed 4 armed men approaching them.
“The robbers instructed them to get out of the car, took their cellphones, jewellery and left with their red Nissan,” says Capt Ramphora.
n A business in First Street, Springs CBD was robbed on Sunday.
The manager and staff of the business were about to close the doors at 4am, when four armed men entered.
Capt Ramphora says the four robbers pointed the their firearms at the victims and ordered cash and the safe keys.
They victims were also ordered to lie down on the ground while the robbers opened the safe, took the cash, three cellphones and ran away.
No shots were fired.
