Broken traffic lights cause havoc

The Advertiser recently received a complaint from resident, John Snyman, in regard to the traffic lights on Wit and Jansen roads.

He also complained about the traffic lights on the corner of Wit and Jan Smuts roads being out of order.

According to Snyman, the traffic lights have not been working for the past three weeks.

Snyman says that these are two of the intersections where there have been quite a few fatal accidents in the past.

He says he is flabbergasted that nothing has been done about it.

At the time of going to print no comment had been received from the metro regarding the matter.
