Bride of the Year competition launched

The competition will be run each month for the next 12 months with a winner being chosen every month to go through to our Bride of the Year competition next year.

The first bride will be chosen in July and the competition will run until June 2015 with the Bride of the Year being chosen in July 2015.

The winners will be chosen by our readers, on a monthly basis, who will vote for their favourite bride at www.springsadvertiser.co.za

Entries are now open for brides married in May or June 2014.

Send your photo, together with your name, the date of your wedding, your contact details and where you got married to samk@caxton.co.za

Entries close on June 26 and the first batch of entries will be published in the Addie on July 3 with voting details.

Prizes:

Bride of the Month:

• The winning entry each month will walk away with a one-night stay at Stable Inn in one of the their Honeymoon Rooms with breakfast included.

• The prize is valued at R1 000 and is valid for one month from the date on which the winner is announced.

The Bride of the Year will win R17 000 in prizes which include:

• Two night’s accommodation with dinner and breakfast included in one of the Stable Inn Honeymoon Suites;
• A manicure and pedicure for both him and her;
• Seven night’s accommodation at the KwaZulu-Natal coast in August 2015;
• R1 000 cash spending money.

Rules

All brides entering the competition must follow the following rules. Anyone who does not will be disqualified and no communication will be entered into in this regard.

• The competition is only open to brides living in Springs. Proof of residential address, with the bride’s name on it, will be required to collect prizes.
• Brides must collect their prizes, with proof of residence personally. Prizes will not be given to a third party.
• Brides who do not live in Springs will be disqualified.
• The competition is only open to brides married during the specified period.
• Photos must be of the bride alone. No photos with the groom or any other people will be entered into the competition.
• Photos must be submitted electronically in a JPEG attachment and must be between 1mb and 3mb. Smaller photos will not be accepted.
• There must be no props (cars, horse carriages etc) in the photo.
• The prizes, except where stated, are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
• Readers will vote on the Addie website www.springsadvertiser.co.za and the bride with the most votes will win that month’s prize.
• When voting for your favourite bride, you may only vote once. Duplicate entries from the same person will not be counted.
